 Large tank helps reduce overheating of oil and gives the air entrapped in oil to escape reducing detonation of air bubbles which would also produce heating and damage to hydraulic motor parts. Has oil level Gauge with temp gauge to assure winch is not overheating thus lowering effectiveness and help stop damaging hydraulic motor. Upgraded model has sprague clutch to disengage spool from hydraulic motor on payin to stop more wear on hydraulic motor

and also has automatic cooling fan and radiator to cool hydraulic oil. Both upgrades makes it possible to tow unlimited times all day long. Have reached a max height of 4100 feet with no headwind and 4 miles distance on the lake. Can achieve average of 1000 feet per mile of road or water with zero wind.
